Story
Shiva Javid was an 18-year-old teenage girl from Mashhad, born in 2007. She was killed during the popular protests in Haft-e Tir, Mashhad, on January 8-9, 2026.
On January 8, 2026 (18 Dey 1404), Shiva was present at the Haft-e Tir protests in Mashhad alongside her father, Ali Javid. Her father was killed by a direct shot from live ammunition. Shiva, terrified, fled the scene.
Several days later, her body was discovered among the deceased. Her face and skull were severely crushed and bloodied, but there were no bullet wounds on her body. It is believed that she was likely beaten to death while in custody.
Shiva Javid and her father were buried together in Block 50 of Behesht-e Reza Cemetery in Mashhad.
