Story
Sahba Rashtian was a 23-year-old female football assistant referee, track-and-field athlete, and fitness coach from Isfahan. She had participated as an assistant referee in provincial women’s football competitions and national youth talent programs. Beyond her athletic pursuits, Sahba was also active in graphic design and painting. She was shot and killed during protests in Isfahan on January 9, 2026, during the National Uprising.
