Neggin Ghadimi, a 27-year-old woman born in Tehran, was a biotechnology graduate with a deep passion for swimming and art. On January 9, 2026, she was killed in the city of Shahsavar (Tonekabon) when agents of the Islamic Republic directly shot her while she was holding her father's hand. In her final moments, Neggin, with a trembling voice, cried out, "Baba... I'm burning... I'm burning..." She ultimately succumbed to severe bleeding and died in her father's arms. This heartbreaking account is a testament to a crime that will never be erased from public memory.
