Story
Farzin Maroufi was a 19-year-old business management student and an employee at an insurance company. He was single and resided in Tehran. Farzin was a hopeful young man, passionate about cooking and singing, and was the only child in his family. He harbored dreams of opening a restaurant with his father.
On December 8, 2022 (8 Azar 1401), Farzin was in Ekbatan Town, Tehran, participating in public celebrations following Iran's national football team's loss to the USA in the World Cup. During these celebrations, regime forces shot him. Farzin was killed by a bullet to the head, reportedly with a smile on his lips. He is remembered as a symbol of youth full of hope, whose only "crime" was celebrating for Iran.
