Abdollah Fathi Mard, a 43-year-old employee of Khuzestan Steel Industries, was killed on January 7, 2026 (17 Dey 1404) in the city of Shushtar by the repressive forces of the Islamic Republic. His name was also found on the Islamic Republic's published list of individuals.
Following his death, his spouse posted a heartbreaking message, expressing profound grief and anger: “What did you do to my Rayan, you heartless ones? Oh, may Rayan’s midnight cries take you. Oh, may the lump of sorrow stuck in Fardin and Faraz’s throats take you. For what crime did you kill my innocent Abdollah? For what crime did you bring my children to tears? Oh, my broken heart — may it blow your family to ruin.”
