Ehsan Mehri, 34 years old, was born on May 14, 1991 (24 Ordibehesht 1370) in Fooladshahr, Isfahan. He was a facilities engineer, a professional bodybuilder, and a Kung Fu practitioner.
On the evening of January 9, 2026 (19 Dey 1404), Ehsan Mehri was killed in Zarrinshahr by live bullets fired by government forces, in front of his family. He was with his mother, sister, wife, and aunt, driving through the street when they heard cries for help. He stopped the car and got out to assist. Moments later, shooting began. His family was shouting, “Don’t shoot.” Ehsan was hit by a bullet and fell to the ground. He died at 11:45 PM at Shohada Hospital in Lenjan.
His family was not allowed to say goodbye. His body was transferred in a black bag. For two days, his family searched for him until his body was identified in Bagh-e Rezvan, Isfahan. His burial was conducted under security conditions and time restrictions. After the burial, his family was asked to declare him a "martyr," a request they refused.
