Ali Mehri was a 16-year-old teenager from Zarrinshahr, Isfahan, born in 2009. According to reports, Ali had recently become a barber.
He was killed on January 9, 2026 (19 Dey 1404), during the suppression of public protests in Zarrinshahr. He was targeted by direct fire from government forces and was severely wounded after being hit in the neck by a military round. The severity of his injury led to his death, adding his name to the list of children and teenagers who lost their lives during the bloody crackdowns by the Islamic Republic.
A post on January 24, 2026, referred to him as a "Child of the homeland, Fallen for the homeland."
