Elham Toghiani, also known by her alias "Hiva," was a 44-year-old woman and a mother of twin sons from Zarrinshahr, Isfahan province. She was a Qashqai Turk citizen, born in 1360 (Jalali calendar).
She was killed in Zarrinshahr, Isfahan, on 18 Dey 1404 (January 8, 2026). Her death occurred during the "Lion and Sun" revolution in January 2026, a period when many Iranian citizens lost their lives. On the day she was killed, Elham Toghiani was with her husband near the "Central Square" (فلکه مرکزی) in Zarrinshahr when heavy and continuous gunfire startled her. As she attempted to move away from the area, she was struck in the chest by a sniper's bullet and died instantly.
A 40th-day memorial ceremony for Elham Toghiani was held on 1 Esfand 1404 (February 20, 2026), at her gravesite in Zarrinshahr. She is remembered by her companions and like-minded people as "Immortal" and a "life-sacrificer of the homeland."
