Story
Amitis Sadeghi, a 16-year-old girl, was killed on January 8, 2026, in Tehranpars, Tehran. Reports indicate she was first hit on the head with a baton, and then forces of the criminal Islamic government directly shot her in the heart with a live bullet. Her name, Amitis, is derived from an ancient Persian princess, daughter of Cyaxares (Median king), and in ancient Persian means "red rose."
Following her killing, criminal thugs threatened her family into silence. They were forced to alter the date on Amitis's tombstone and warned that if they spoke publicly, they would never see her body again. Her grieving family had to comply to retrieve her body, and were further threatened that her grave would be destroyed and her body removed if they discussed the circumstances of her death.
Her mother expressed profound grief, stating, "My Amitis was very innocent; they took her life from me with so many dreams." Heartbroken and constantly mourning, her mother also wrote, "Your pure blood will not be wasted. My revenge will keep your name alive. My revenge will stand until the truth is revealed." This suppression, according to reports, was part of an effort by the Islamic Republic to silence and erase Amitis, like many other Iranian children, while simultaneously feigning concern for the very children they were responsible for killing.
