Abolfazl Bakhtiarpoor Doraki, an 18-year-old student, resided in Isfahan and belonged to the great Bakhtiari tribe, Doraki branch, and Zarasvand clan. He was a young man from the heart of a village with simple dreams and an unwritten future.
He died on January 10, 2026, in Darvish Street, Isfahan, by direct fire from the regime's suppressive forces. His life had barely begun when he very soon faced the naked truth of suppression; he merely “stood” in the streets of Isfahan, and this act of standing was enough for the regime to target him with bullets and kill him.
Reports indicate that his family, fearing the abduction of his body by agents, kept the corpse under ice until morning. The next day, January 11, 2026, Abolfazl's body was secretly transferred to his ancestral village, “Dorak Shapouri” (Anari), in Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari Province, and buried there. At his funeral, slogans including “Death to Khamenei” and “Curse on Khomeini” were chanted. On February 10, 2026, his mother held a birthday celebration at his grave.
